New proposed Louis Vuitton store in Japan

These images are the proposed plans for a new Louis Vuitton Flagship store in Japan. The construction and location of the new store is secret for now but it has been reveled that the store will be 54 metres tall at 10 storeys and is said to 'establish an architectural equivalent of the identity of Louis Vuitton' blending classical and modern qualities.

Louis Vuitton stores are known for their luxury buildings and interior design which reflect their highly valued brand so i can imagine an awful lot of money being spent on this new build and could see the possibility of it becoming another Louis Vuitton store tourist attraction. At the moment i think the designs look too hollow and silver struck and modern for the Louis Vuitton brand, which i resemble with as a more classical steady brand therefore believe the building should also reflect this, like the stores in Paris and London do, without the use of such large spaces cut into the walls. Perhaps once the store is built and is full of Louis Vuitton bags and cases i may change my view! I will be keeping an eye out for more information and pics of this building proposal!
